What a way to start 2010
January 24, 2010 (7:19pm)
This January, Rosie’s Corset celebrated our 4th Birthday! Looking back on the past 4 years we’ve played over 50 gigs in all kinds of venues, to all kinds of people, and had a brilliant time along the way. Our play list is ever expanding, and we now typically provide a full evenings entertainment, offering 3 x 45 minute sets. New songs for 2010 are Sex on Fire , For Once in My Life, Money for Noting, and Kassie’s favourite Islands in the Stream.
We started 2010 with a fantastic gig at the Lord Haldon Hotel in Dodiscombleigh, celebrating Joanne and Nick Foster’s wedding. It looked like the whole wedding was in the mood to party, and we had a fantastic evening entertaining you all. If you saw us play at this gig, leave some feedback here. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Foster!

Happy Birthday Leonie - we hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did!

Dancing in December
January 05, 2009 (5:49pm)
We finished 2008 with two of our best gigs of the year. On Friday 12th December we were welcomed back by the staff of Tozers Solicitors who took to the floor for a night of dancing at their Christmas Party. Some people were more full of the festive ‘spirit’ than others, and everyone had a great night!
On Saturday 13th December we were delighted to be invited to play for the guests of John and Gaynor Davey as they celebrated their wedding in Okehampton. The Conservative Club was packed with family and friends, all wishing Mr and Mrs Davey well in their marriage. Everyone was in a celebratory mood, with the lady guests doing some interesting moves to ‘Wipe Out’, and the Groom and friends doing some pretty spectacular dancing to One Step Beyond. CONGRATULATIONS John and Gaynor.
On behalf of all of Rosie’s Corset, may we take this opportunity to wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR… we look forward to seeing you at some of our gigs in 2009.
